As an ultrasound boutique, you are in the business of customer service. Every client that walks in your door is a walking marketing ad. While you want each mother to have the greatest experience and take home an everlasting memory, you also want your business to continue growing.

Easy and Thoughtful Ways to Improve Customer Service
Customer service does not begin and end with appointment times. There are a few ways to extend the personal touches to ensure happy clients.
Personal Reminder
Have your receptionist call the following day’s appointments and give a quick reminder to clients. She can ask if the mother has any questions or desires for her appointment time.
Follow-Up Message
Sending a quick text message or email within a few days of an appointment will leave your clients smiling. If possible, include an image from the scan and write, “Hi Mommy! I can’t wait to meet you!” Make sure to thank them for coming in.
Congratulations Cards
Print and save an image of each client’s baby. About 10 days after their due date, send a congratulations card to welcome their new bundle of joy. Make sure to include the printed ultrasound picture with a note similar to this:
The days will speed by
And memories will be made
But that first picture,
May it never fade.
Record Heartbeats
Always record their baby’s heartbeat. Encourage them to store it inside of a My Baby’s Heartbeat Bear. You can even include a Heartbeat Animal with your packages. When your clients take home more than a picture, and they have something to continually connect them to their baby, they will always have a connection with you.
