Our new heartbeat modules are not only beautiful, they are easy to use and securely lock in the recordings. You can switch from unlocked to locked with a simple squeeze, recording new sounds or messages (remembering to store old ones in our app). Wholesalers are loving that they can now ensure they have locked a recording before handing over a Heartbeat Animal!

How to Record and Lock a Recording

When your modules arrive, they will have a plastic tab that needs pulled before recording. Once pulled, flip the switch to "R" (record mode) and squeeze to record. If you are having trouble, check to see if it is locked (see below). Hold the heart within a few cm of the sound for best recording. Next, flip the switch from "R" to "P" (playback mode.) Squeeze to hear the heartbeat. If it is exactly as desired, lock the recording by squeezing for 5 seconds until a beep is heard.

A new recording cannot be made until the module is unlocked.

How to Unlock Your Heartbeat Module

If your modules arrived accidentally locked, simply ensure the switch is in "P-mode" and squeeze until you hear 2 beeps. You can now switch to the record mode and capture that beautiful heartbeat!
