Fortune Teller Fun

Fortune telling isn’t for everyone, but if you don’t invest too much thought into the old tradition, it can be quite a good time! Bring in a fortune teller, crystal ball, and decorate accordingly for families to see into their future and hear all about what parenthood has in store for them! You can offer packages to include a gender reveal through the fortune teller or a simple, “Shop and See the Future!”

Be Stuffed and Thankful

Definitely don’t skimp on the pumpkin treats for this event. You can offer Thanksgiving baskets to be stuffed with boutique offerings and gifts, host a Heartbeat Animal ‘stuffing’ of recorded messages or heartbeats, or you can connect with a local non-profit to stuff needed baskets for charity.  You can tie this theme into more than one event, even. The entire month of November is about giving and being grateful!

Host a Wrapping Party

You can offer free gift wrapping for anything purchased in your boutique or you can choose 1-2 days to hold a wrapping party where clients can bring a few gifts in to wrap in the company of other moms. It sounds silly, but having people around you while doing small things makes pregnancy more enjoyable.

Santa’s Coming to Town

Hurry and book a realistic Santa for a weekend at your boutique this December. You can hire a professional photographer or set up your own camera to snap pictures for families. Santa can make for a great pregnancy announcement photo opp! He may also help you gift a gender reveal wrapped package or simply listen to big siblings’ gift requests. (Offer an email-version of the pictures for families to share as holiday cards.) 

Noon Year’s Eve Celebration

Think cookies and mocktails with every ultrasound package on New Year’s Eve. A countdown of your top 10 products/keepsakes can be bundled together for a package deal to be raffled away, and you can have clients fill in postcards you mail out in the new year. Don’t stress out over missing the holiday yourself because you can close-up shop just after noon and head home to celebrate!
